2018. SEASON START IN
In beginning, there was just a dream and strong will. A will to do something different, and a dream to show it to the world.
We made that dream come true. Ship Karaka is our star and we are very proud of it.
For us Karaka represents not only the tradition, history, and respect for those who created Dubrovnik, but also the innovation and passion.
Explore the Elaphiti Islands and their picturesque towns of white stone, surrounded by luscious green pine trees and the foam of the pristine Adriatic Sea. Surrender to the richness of the homemade cuisine – a true feast for all the senses.
We begin our journey by sailing towards Koločep – an island covered with pine forest and adorned with a picturesque fishing village along the bay. Then we continue towards the town of Suđurađ on the island of Šipan, the fishing port where the 16th century villa of the Skočibuha family is located. Our last stop is the island of Lopud, an island with a long naval tradition and the home of many famous captains and sailors. Enjoy the walk along Lopud Bay to the Franciscan monastery and the Gjorgic – Mayneri park from the 19th century. Finally, there is always enough time for swimming and sunbathing on one of the sandy beaches.
Karaka Cruise – the Elaphite Islands is one of the most beautiful ways of discovering history on a warm summer’s day.

BEST EXCURSION IN DUBROVNIK!
BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE GUARANTEED!
FULL DAY KARAKA CRUISE!
This is one of the best excursion I’ve been to while in Dubrovnik. Their service, staff, lunch menus and the itinerary are simply perfect. It is probably the best way to do the island hopping. The islands themselves are really beautiful, interesting and worth visiting. Excursions with Karaka are definitely the best way to do that!
These old sailing replicas are really cool and you can sail on one for dinner to watch the gorgeous sunset. They begin by serving champagne as you board the ship, then they set sail, you take in the unbelievable sunset from behind the Old City walls, and then enjoy a buffet meal (with a cash bar). I lovely way to escape the heat and have a nice evening.
We had a great time on this trip! I’d read mostly good reviews but also a few bad and after going on it, I’ve decided some people just can’t be pleased! Mind you our cruise wasn’t too busy, a nice amount of people to be able to see and get around easily. Plenty of space down below to sit and eat. The food was great, fresh and plenty of it. Drinks outside the couple of freebies you got were very reasonably priced and the red wine was pretty good! The sail itself doesn’t go far but we were lucky enough to get a lovely sunset. It got cold once the sun went down but we took warm clothes in preparation. I thought it might have sailed right around the old walls but it just goes one side but didn’t really matter as we got some great pictures. The length of time was good too.
